The Estate

Nearly a Century
of Grandeur

Established 1929

Built to Last,
Made to Gather

Stoneleigh Estate was built in 1929 in the Tudor Revival style that defined the grand homes of the era. With its steeply pitched rooflines, half-timbered facades, and hand-laid stonework, the mansion was designed not merely as a residence, but as a statement of permanence and grace.

For nearly a century, the estate has presided over 56 acres of Virginia's most beautiful landscape — formal gardens that bloom from spring through fall, ancient hardwood forests threaded with walking trails, and sweeping lawns that stretch toward the Blue Ridge Mountains on the horizon.

Today, under the stewardship of Julie Wells, Stoneleigh has been lovingly restored and reimagined as a venue where celebrations unfold against a backdrop of authentic beauty — a place where the architecture tells its own story, and every gathering feels like coming home.
